Growing up in Sacramento, CA, my family formed our strongest bonds around food. Always cooking and eating together, the TV was turned off, the phone went unanswered, and the importance of family communication and sharing was paramount.
In high school, working my first job at a neighborhood café, I fell further in love with food and the hospitality industry. While working in local establishments, I decided to pursue education and a career in food service. At the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY I earned a Bachelor’s in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management. After returning to my Northern California roots, I began work with the Johnny Garlic’s Restaurant Group.
Having executed and overseen four restaurant openings, I’m currently working in supervisory capacities for the Bella Bru and Luna Lounge Coffee and Catering Co as well as the Paragary Restaurant Group. When I can find the time, I enjoy cooking, skiing, playing golf, and photography.
