KIPP SF Bay Academy,

“I believe that having a connection place or places around campus for students to connect to nature is directly connected to the social-emotional health of our students.” – David Walton, Director of Student Affairs

Our Story

We are connected to Gateway High School and they have an amazing garden that they’d like to share with KIPP SF Bay Academy. ?We’ve had a garden club over the years that has come and gone, but we now have a teacher that is excited about taking on this wonderful program.

Your Help

Our vision is to turn this garden into a?multi-use community garden for both Gateway and KIPP SF Bay Academy. We’d like to start a farmers?market stand that supports our school community, but we need help.

To reach this goal, we need to build out the garden, by adding more growing areas, vertical gardens and tools.

We also want to revive the small garden area by the classrooms, by turning it into a peaceful reading garden.
