Beets

The beet (also known as a garden beet, table beet, red beet, or blood turnip) is a bulbous root vegetable, typically sweet in flavor. While they come in a variety of colors, beets are known for their dark red hue. They are loaded with betalin pigments, which give them an intense red color and have also been shown to support detoxification and removal of toxic substances from the body.
